Mentoring Cell

Objective

Provide guidance and support to students through mentoring programs.

Responsibilities

  • Organize mentoring sessions and workshops for students.
  • Plan and propose necessary budget for mentoring activities.
  • Facilitate mentor-mentee pairings and relationships.
  • Provide training for mentors and resources for mentees.
  • Promote the importance of mentorship in personal and academic growth.
  • Maintain records of mentoring activities and participant feedback.
  • Organize a Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM) immediately after the completion of the internal examination.
  • Coordinate with the Internal Examination Committee to ensure proctor books are updated following each PTM.

  • Ensure mentorship programs are accessible and relevant to all students.
  • Promote a culture of support and growth within the college community.

Protocol to be Followed

  • The Convenor must use the committee seal on all circulars and documents issued by the committee.
  • Announce mentoring events and activities well in advance through circulars and online platforms.
  • Maintain detailed records of all activities, including participant details, outcomes, and feedback.
  • Submit a statistical report on committee activities and achievements to the Principal at the end of each semester.
  • Coordinate with the Timetable Committee to organize events without disrupting regular academic activities.
  • Ensure timely communication with students regarding mentoring opportunities and updates.
  • Hold regular meetings with committee members to plan and review activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of mentoring programs on student development.
  • Submit the meeting books on the 5th of every month.
  • Submit a report after each activity/event.
