Student Council
The Student Council serves as a representative body of students dedicated to enhancing the quality of student life. This serves as a comprehensive support system aimed at fostering the holistic development of students. The Core Student Council comprises two College Captains (one female and one male, elected from the final year students), two Cultural Captains (one female and one male, nominated from the final year batches), and two Sports Captains (one female and one male, nominated from the final year batches). Each department features an elected student council, which includes two captains (one female and one male) from the final year cohorts, along with a secretary chosen from the second year cohorts. The larger student council consists of the Core Student Council, the department student councils, elected class representatives, and nominated representatives from various clubs and associations. The student council plays a key role in the organisation of Graduation Day, intra-collegiate cultural and arts competitions, Sanskriti—the inter-collegiate cultural fest, as well as intra and inter-collegiate sports fests and various other events. Regular meetings of the Student Council are held each semester, attended by the principal and the student council mentors. During this meeting, the students assess activities, outline upcoming programs, and engage in discussions on pertinent issues with the Principal.
